Mary Gale - ENTREPRENEUR, BUSINESS LEADER PROFESSOR EMERITUS, BABSON COLLEGE

Ms. Gale is an educator, entrepreneur, business leader, and consultant with over 40 years of strategic, marketing, and operations experience across a broad range of industries including software-based services, diagnostics, telecommunications, surface preparation,
consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods and education.

She taught in the Babson College Entrepreneurship Division from September 1, 2011, August 31, 2025. In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate students, she co-directed 
Launch & Grow for six years. This was an intensive executive education business program for Kenyan women entrepreneurs. She was Co-Director of Babson’s Summer Venture Program for five years. She also consulted in a Babson Entrepreneurial Ecosystem project for the City of Manizales, Colombia.

Ms. Gale has been involved in eight start-ups as an investor, director, and/or senior executive. Most recently, she served as CEO of a start-up software services business, Pet Health Network, Inc. She was also a senior marketing executive at IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. during a period of early growth through IPO. She began her career in product management at General Foods. Her consulting experience includes Booz, Allen; Marketing Corporation of America (boutique consulting firm in Westport, Connecticut); and her own assignments.

Ms. Gale received a BA Degree from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from Harvard
Business School.

She has served as ROVA Advisor Board for four years. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Sponge-Jet, Inc., Portsmouth, NH (advanced, recyclable, industrial surface preparation technology). She is a Trustee Emeritus, Gould Academy, Bethel, Maine.
